• Looks like we'll meet Bree (formerly Brue and played by Gina Torres), a character acquainted with Damon. She has an interest in the occult and witchcraft.
• Dillon Casey will play Noah (formerly named Mitch?), a guy who becomes "obsessed with Elena, much to Stefan's concern." (Source: Vampire-Diaries.net)

It just shows that, Damon and Elena meet with someone called Brue and she has a lot of information about witches,
If you read the scene, Elena may be a decendent of Katherine and related,
And we find out that Damon must have come back to Mystic Falls to get Katherine back....some sort of tomb?

Also if they stick to some of the aspects of the books...book spoilers Maybe they'll finally get to the point where they get the crypt open and find there's no body in there cause Katherine is alive? DUN DUN DUN The other route I can see is they pull a Darla from revive her from death

Looks like Lee will be appearing in this episode instead of 162 Candles. Whether s/he will have anything to do with Lexi remains to be seen.

I think Lee probably does have something to do with 162 Candles even if he is not making an actual appearance. Though they haven't even revealed Lee's actor yet.

Does anyone know who Brue calls at the end of the script? My gut keeps wanting to point the finger at Stefan but logically I feel like for Lee to show up he must have a reason other than Lexi. I mean seriously, unless there is going to be a show down between him and Damon I highly doubt he would come to Mystic Falls just to give his condolences. Or on the other hand if Brue knows Damon than chances are she knows Stefan as well so she may have called him to let him know what is going on. I actually would like to see Stefan start getting some help with this whole situation. One man can't do it alone. Could it be that Bonnie and Brue are helping him?

My immediate assumption was Grams with the witchy stuff. The other guess are equally as possible, though.

You know could it be that we are not seeing all the players in this situation? Whose to say that Grams has not been aware of what is going on from the beginning? Could she play a bigger role than anyone would have anticipated especially in light of what happens to Bonnie this week? I think she may have a bigger role to play than anything we have thought about up to this point. It may very well be she is the one who saves Elena and helps Stefan in finally putting a stop to Damon's plans via Bonnie who will join forces with Stefan.

Hmmm....

First this epi has no mention of stefan yet, theres alot of talk about ian and nina doing an epi together, there was a spoiler posted on the blog with selections on what will happen on next weeks cliffhanger, one of which says stefan leaves mystic falls, damon steals elena, and someone gets in a life threatning accident. I truely thought it was Elena in the accident, but if that is the case, then how the heck is she out with Damon on the next epi? oh so confused ............... and what is she doing with Damon when he almost killed her BEST friend
